Schnucks store closing September
JANESVILLE, In poor health. (WIFR) – The Schnucks store at 1501 Creston Park in Janesville will close next month, the grocery store chain presented Friday.
The 64,000-square-foot store is slated to fully close at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21. All 57 employees of the Janesville location could have the choice to modify to a Schnucks location throughout the Rockford area or opt for a severance package deal deal.
The company says for workforce who make a selection to modify, it is going to try to place them in equivalent jobs earning the equivalent fee of pay, doing identical art work and working a identical number of hours each week.
“The decision to close a store is never a very easy one to make; then again, the Janesville market has complex, and we’ve determined it’s time for us to head out,” discussed Schnucks Chairman and CEO Todd Schnuck in a knowledge free up.
Customers at the Janesville store will be able to earn and redeem Schnucks Rewards problems until the store closes. Customers will then be able to earn and redeem problems at each different Schnucks location.
The store opened in May 2002 underneath the former Logli name previous than rebranding in 2013 to Schnucks.
